In Memory Of Cheryl (Cherubs) Lee Tavares

Cheryl was a person who everyone liked right away, she was very outgoing and loved a good laugh. She worked hard as a hairdresser and also kept up her family. Two of her children are special needs, so she often had her hands full and faced many challenges day to day, but she was always there for her kids and saw to it that they got the best doctors and treatments, she seldom got angry with them and never complained about how hard it was. She often would go to a clients house to do their hair on her day off if they couldn't afford the salon prices or if they could not get out to get their hair done. She was an amazing person and our hearts broke the day we found out she was no longer with us, and we are angry that someone took away someone so special.

You never said I'm leaving
You never said good-bye
You were gone before we knew it,
And only God knows why
A million times we needed you,
A million times we cried
If love alone could have saved you,
You never would have died
In life we loved you dearly,
In death we love you still
In our hearts you hold a place,
That none could ever fill
It broke our hearts to lose you,
But you didn't go alone
For part of us went with you,
The day God took you home.
A part of our hearts
have gone with you,
That can never be replaced
A look, a sign, a laugh
I need
Or just to touch your face
They say that time heals
all pain and sorrow,
And helps us to forget
But time so far has only proved
How much we miss you yet.
