Clay was a passionate old soul who had a great sense of humour. He loved all sports especially football which he played at Martin Collegiate and excelled well with academics. The last high school he attended was at Bert Fox Composite High School in Fort Qu'Appelle, Saskatchewan. His greatest passion was singing pow-wow with Young Dog Society and with his brothers, as well as eating his favourite foods. Always having a quick wit and an awesome memory on past bets with his cousins and memories with his family. Loved to encourage and rough-house with his younger siblings for involvement in sports. The shock and loss felt by his family and friends is beyond what words can express.
We little knew that morning, God was going to call your name.
In life we loved you dearly, In death we do the same.
It broke our hearts to lose you, You did not go alone.
For part of us went with you, The day God called you home.
You left us beautiful memories, Your Love is still our guide.
And though we cannot see you, You are always by our sides.
Our family chain is broken, And nothing seems the same.
But as God calls us one by one, The chain will link again.
If I should go tomorrow, It would never be good-bye.
For I have left my heart with you, so don't you ever cry.
The love that's deep within me, shall reach you from the stars.
You'll feel it from the Heavens, and it will heal the scars.
