This memorial website was created in the memory of our beloved Alyana Mwangi who was born in Nairobi on 9th May 2012 and passed away on 4th April 2013, 330 days old. Alyana, you came into our lives and brought up so much joy. Your ever happy face will forever be embedded in my memories of you. My greatest moments were taking your photos and videos every other moment....as if I knew you wouldn't be with us long. I always thought that being your daddy, I'd teach you so so so much in life as you grow up, and guide you in the path of life having been there before you. Shock on me...it is you who have ended up teaching me, and amongs others, the difficult lesson of death. And not just death, of your death, my daughter. This has been the most difficult time I have had to endure all my life. All in all, I know that no amount of tears can bring you back into my arms. I take solace in the fact that you are in a better place up there in heaven and singing with the angels. I also know that you are in a big big beautiful mansion, bigger than what I would have bought for you down here during your wedding maybe......One thing I am sure about is that we shall meet again one day.And until that ay come, rest in peace sweetie.
